Award winning Kenilworth based yoga teacher – Lucy Holtom is delivering a mixed abilities yoga sessions for adults in the peaceful surroundings of the Castle Pavilion.

The class will include: breath & body observation; breathing practice (Pranayama); a short Meditation; warming & joint release practices (Pawanmuktasana); sun salutations (Surya Namaskar). Further posture work (Asana) will include: standing postures to build strength in the lower body; balance postures for focus & concentration; forward folds to draw attention inward; back bends to uplift; twists to release tension. The practice will end with a guided relaxation.

For the session, please bring a mat, a firm blanket, warm socks and wear comfortable (not too baggy) clothing. Have a bottle of water handy too. (If it’s a cool day, please wear layers for comfort)

We will need you to complete a health questionnaire prior to the session.

This is an outdoor event and while we hope that September brings with it warm summer days, there is a chance it may rain, so please be aware that this event is not under cover, so dress accordingly. In the event of extreme bad weather, we will arrange contingency plans which will be indoors.
