In a period of masks, when time is carefully watched, where we may feel disconnected, fearful of touch, when our minds are adapting to change and our health is critical, the ‘Respire’ project looks at recovery, hope and strength after a time of difficulty.

Exploring how we see one another, our bodies, our environment and reflecting on our needs, Respire looks to offer an imaginative and inspiring visual art lens to explore health and wellbeing, through the use of temporary materials on the human canvas.
Respire will offer you the opportunity to watch and participate in live body art creation and activities, as well as participate in live interactive music and sound.

The Respire Project focuses on health and wellbeing, with Emma Fay creating body art films live as part of a collective art experiences where audiences become participants in the creation of digital works.

This is an outdoor event and while we hope that September brings with it warm summer evenings, there is a chance it may rain, so please be aware that this event is not under cover, so dress accordingly. In the event of extreme bad weather, we will arrange contingency plans which will be indoors.
