*Update*

We are incredibly sad to hear of the decision by WDC to cancel tonight’s Light Switch on after the amount of work undertaken by all staff and stallholders, your efforts do not go unnoticed, however, health and safety must take priority on these occasions.
We are, however, pursuing the opportunity to try and include some of the fun at our Christmas Market due to take place in Talisman Sq on 11 December 2021! 
The lights have still been switched on, however, so please take the opportunity to enjoy the lights over the weeks ahead, they are wonderful!

Christmas is officially returning to Kenilworth as we welcome people back to the town centre to switch on the Christmas lights and usher in the start of the festive season.

Taking place on Friday 26th November, Kenilworth’s  switch-on events will take place in both the High Street and Warwick Road simultaneously, with  lights illuminating both parts of the town on the same evening. Starting at 4pm, both sets of lights will be switched on at 6pm with a fantastic selection of entertainment, music, food and seasonal stalls to continue the festive mood. Events will wrap up by 8pm.

Fun for all the family is available on Warwick Road, with the event getting underway at 4pm. Local artists will be performing on the main stage alongside a rock choir and a special panto performance. Fun fair rides will be available to keep the kids entertained and there are a range of market stalls for you to browse and buy.

The Mayor of Kenilworth, Councillor Peter Jones will switch on the lights at 6pm.
