Category: Pub
Thought to be the oldest pub in Kenilworth, this historic watering hole dates back to 1563 when it was called the Two Virgins Inn. The records show that it was then host to the ‘Court of the Castle Manor’ which was around the same time the castle was granted to Lord Robert Dudley, good friend of Queen Elizabeth. No doubt the locals saw the lavish celebrations held when the Queen came to visit. Nowadays, as one of the areas most popular meeting places, The Virgins and Castle serves great breakfasts, lunches and Sunday roasts.
