Abbey Fields Swimming Pool

Abbey Fields Swimming Pool will open once again on 11 July 2026, following a multi-million-pound redevelopment.

This project provides an all-new swimming pool perfectly suited to a variety of water-based sessions, from young children’s swim lessons to aqua and Hydrohex sessions, alongside a family pool which is perfect for those with younger children. The centre will be open from 7am to 9pm Monday to Friday, and 7am to 5pm at weekends, ensuring plenty of time for everyone to dive into the new timetable.

There will also be an enlarged changing village for everyone, as well as a new fully accessible changing area with easy and comfortable access to the pool via the latest Poolpod lift. The new centre will also feature a larger, conservatory-style café – complete with outdoor seating – where you will be able to enjoy a range of delicious and nutritious drinks, snacks and meals!
