About Us
The Visit Kenilworth website has been developed by Kenilworth Town Council and Black Spiral Design to inspire, inform and showcase the very best that Kenilworth has to offer to visitors. The Visit Kenilworth programme has been supported by funding from HS2’s Business & Local Economy Fund (BLEF).
The Town Council has the powers and duties of a parish council. It makes small grants to various voluntary organisations, is a statutory consultee to the local planning authority, and its views are sought by the County and District Councils and public utilities on issues such as transport, drainage and the development of the town centre. The Town Council has dedicated resources to Tourism and is committed to promoting Kenilworth to the outside world.
Black Spiral Design is a hybrid agency specialising in tourism development. Black Spiral have been commissioned by Kenilworth Town Council to develop and lead on the dleivery of the Visit Kenilworth programme, bring tourism to life for the destination.
The Visit Kenilworth project has received funding from HS2’s Business & Local Economy Fund (BLEF). The BLEF fund has been created by HS2 to add benefit to communities along the route that are demonstrably disrupted by the construction of Phase One of HS2 from London to West Midlands.
The website is supported by partners at Warwick District Council, Warwickshire County Council and Shakespeare’s England along with the businesses and stakeholders in Kenilworth.
