Treasure Hunt Information

This trail is an interactive treasure hunt requiring you to solve puzzles and gather clues to progress.

Please note – these trails are developed and optimised for a mobile experience so may not work effectively on bigger screen sizes.

Important – Using these trails and clicking their links will require mobile data (no more than accessing web pages), please ensure you are aware of your data limits and costs before using them.

How to Play

1. You will need pen and paper as well as your smartphone for the best experience (writing notes is very helpful!)
2. At each point of interest you are tasked with solving a puzzle (or puzzles) that revolve around something physical that’s written there. So, keep your eyes peeled for signs, plaques and panels.
3. Each spot will also ask you to record a date (its important to do so!). You can enter this date at each page on this app for more information on the place you are standing.
4. If you get lost or need a clue, feel free to Google anything and you’ll also find hints and directions in the tab in the footer (beware of spoilers however!).
