Abbey End

Abbey End by Jamie Gray Photography

Abbey End is a comparatively recent development. The area was devastated on the morning of 21st November 1940, when a 500kg landmine was dropped on Kenilworth. Twenty-five people lost their lives with more than one hundred injured. The area was cleared and rebuilt in the mid-1960s, creating a new Abbey End, a place to enjoy, which conceals the scars left on the town. Uncover the history and revel in the present.
