Kenilworth is spoilt for choice with two fantastic Christmas Lights switch-on events happening on Friday 26 November 2021, ushering in the start of the festive season. This year both High Street and Warwick Road lights are being switched on simultaneously, so take your pick (or visit both anyway!).
Kenilworth’s High Street will be starting their celebrations at 5pm with a range of food and drink stalls, local high street businesses and community groups plus performances of Punch and Judy and an appearance from Santa with his sleigh.
The Deputy Mayor of Kenilworth, Councillor Samantha Cooke will switch on the lights at 6pm.

Fun fair rides will be available to keep the kids entertained and there are a range of market stalls for you to browse and buy.

We’re looking forward to celebrating the start of the festive season! So, don’t miss these two different but equally exciting Kenilworth Christmas Lights events, there’s plenty of choice for everyone. But please remember to support our local businesses by eating and shopping local this festive season. You’ll find a full street market on Warwick Road for the event as well as numerous stalls on the High Street.
The Council will continue to implement the current public health guidance in place at the time, advising anyone attending to ‘lateral flow before you go’. Do not attend if you have any symptoms of Covid-19 and wear a mask when in crowded spaces.
